The Troy Bilt Storm 3090 XP Snow Blower is the second biggest snow blower offered by Troy Bilt. This snow blower makes others like the Troy Bilt Storm Tracker 2690 XP Snow Blower and the Troy Bilt Flurry 1400 Snow Blower look very puny in comparison. The engine powering the 3090XP snow thrower has a displacement of 0.36 liters and has been manufactured and built by Troy Bilt. Power from this engine drives the wheels, auger and the impeller. The all wheel drive transmission gives this snow blower 6 gears when traveling forward and 2 gears for when it’s reversing. Controlling the snow blower is very easy, it uses Touch and Turn power steering which allows you to easily operate it in very small and confined areas.

The clearing width of the Troy Bilt Storm 3090 XP snow blower is obviously 0.76 m (30 inches) while it has a clearing height of 0.53 m (21 inches). This dual stage snowblower has a 0.3 m (12 inches) auger that has been made from serrated steel. This auger is so strong that even small pieces of wood and debris won’t damage it if they happen to enter the ‘bucket’. After the snow has been adequately pulverized, it is then channeled towards the center of the machine where the impeller blows it out through the chute and away from the clearing area.

The chute on the Troy Bilt Storm 3090 XP snow blower is able to move in 4 directions; left, right, up and down. It is controlled by the operator using a joystick. The handlebars on the 3090XP snow thrower are heated and the fuel tank can hold up to 4.7 liters of gasoline. Both these features allow for the continuous operation without the need for the operator to take a break.
