Husqvarna GTH27V48LS

The Husqvarna GTH27V48LS garden tractor lawn mower is a 48 inch ride on lanwmower with a 27 hp engine. Similar machines include the Husqvarna YTH24V48LS, which has a cutting deck of the same size and the Husqvarna GTH26V52LS lawn tractor. The engine that powers the GTH 27V 48LS is an Endurance series engine developed and built by the guys at Briggs & Stratton. This twin cylinder engine is 0.724 liters in size and is air cooled. It is electric started using a 12 volt battery that is recharged with a 16 amp alternator. You do not need to change gears on this machine thanks to the Hyrdo Gear hydrostatic transmission that makes it an automatic. This transmission gives the tractor a top speed of 12.6 kph (7.8 mph) which makes it very nippy.

The fuel tank on the Husqvarna GTH27V48LS lawn mower can hold up to 15.1 liters (4 US gallons) of gasoline. Even though this is a large machine with a length of 1.8 m (71 inches) and a 48 inch mower deck, it is still very easy to navigate through small and cramped garden spaces thanks to it’s very small minimum turning radius of 0.46 m (18 inches).

One of the great things about the Husqvarna GTH27V48LS, is that it’s just so easy to use, besides being an automatic, it is also really easy to operate the mower deck. This is thanks in part to the fact that the controls for raising and lowering the mower deck are located on the fender deck, so you never need to stretch to change the cutting height. The mower deck is also spring assisted which means that you never have to worry and straining you back when changing it’s height from a low of 1.5 inches up to a high of 4 inches above the ground. Unfortunately the GTH 27V 48LS lawnmower does not come with headlights so you will not be able to use this machine in the dark.

Yeah I thought it came with headlights too (although I do not _yet_ own one). Thanks for posting this comment otherwise I would have been confused by the original review.
