Kubota BX2360

The Kubota BX2360 lawn tractor is part of the BX series of machines that also include the less powerful Kubota BX1860 and the more powerful Kubota BX2660 and Kubota BX25 garden tractors. The BX 2360 uses a Kubota D902 diesel engine that provides that machine with 23 hp. The engine is a 3 cylinder and uses a liquid cooling system to prevent overheating. It has a total size of 0.898 liters. The fuel tank on this tractor can hold up to 25 liters (6.6 US gallons) of diesel.

The transmission on the Kubota BX2360 garden tractor is a HST hydrostatic which makes it an automatic. It gives the tractor infinite speeds over both a Hi and a Lo range. In the Hi range, the BX 2360 has a top speed of 13.5 kph (8.4 mph) when moving forward, but when reversing, it has a top speed of 10 kph (6.2 mph) making it fairly reasonable at covering long distances at speed. The engine transfers power to a mid PTO which spins at 2400 rpm. This means that a mower deck with a cutting width of either 54 inches or 60 inches can be attached to it. Both mower decks have 3 blades and are adjusted from a minimum cutting height of 1 inch above the ground to a maximum of 4 inches above the ground.

The Kubota BX2360 lawn tractor has a category 1, 3 point hitch to which a number of implements can be attached as well as a rear bagger to catch the cut grass clippings. To the front of the BX 2360, a front blade, a snow blower as well as a front sweeper can be attached to make use of the garden tractors versatility. If you have previously owned or operated a Kubota BX-2360 garden lawn tractor, then please leave a review below detailing your experiences with it, making sure to mention what you enjoyed about it as well as what irritated you about it.

  1. Frank Peters says:

After my modification I believe it will be good machine.

    Year of Manufacture: 2012
Pros: It is a solid build 4 wheel drive capable of mowing on a slope side of my property and it is a replacement for Arians GT 17 witch was a grate machine for 23 years. Kubota is new and so far so good.
Cons: The hydraulic operation 3 PH is primitive, outdated and not easy to set the heights of mowing deck.
Attachments: Mowing deck is disappointing with the adjustments, dialing system is terrible and drive belt is only partly covered, The 23 years old Arians has full cover.
Modifications: ROPS have no hinge to fold down when mowing under the trees,
3PH has only one side adjustable, there if no toolbox, hazard light are fitted outside of ROPS, easily damaged, deflector flop has no way to lift on the go safely. I have modified all that what Kubota should have done in first place.
