The Kubota BX 24 is a large lawn tractor that has many excellent features which make it valuable to anyone who wants to improve their garden. The tractor is powered by a D902 diesel engine that Kubota manufactures itself. This is a 3 cylinder engine with an engine size of 0.9 liters which is liquid cooled. The total power output of the engine comes in at 23 hp. This power is then transferred through a 4×4 MFWD 4WD chassis to the wheels.

The transmission is a hydrostatic one which gives the Kubota BX24 an infinite number of gears going forward and an infinite number of gears when reversing also. This means that there is no need to be constantly messing around with a gear stick when changing speeds. However you will need it to switch from high gear to low gear. The steering on the tractor lawn mower is also hydrostatic power steering. You can get a fairly long running time from the Kubota BX24 thanks to it’s large 25 liter (6.6 US gallons) of diesel fuel. The B24 comes equipped with a category 1, 3 point hitch that enables it to link up with many rear mounted attachments. The rear lift capacity tops out at 303 kg (670 lbs).

The weight of the tractor without any implements attached comes in at 699 kg (1542 lbs). It is 2.42 m (95.5 inches) in length while it’s a width comes in at 1.13 m (44.5 inches). The Kubota BX24 has a reasonable ground clearance of 0.22 m (8.7 inches). There are a number of attachments compatible with this tractor including the Kubota LA240 front end loader and the BT601 backhoe which make it very useful for more than just hauling things. It also has a ROPS (roll bar) than can be folded away for storage.
