John Deere G110

The John Deere G110 lawnmower is the upgraded version of the John Deere G100 lawn mower. It was produced between 2004 and 2005 in Horicon production facility which is located in Wisconsin. It uses a very slightly different engine than the JD G100. It’s a Kohler CV730S gasonline engine that pumps out 25 hp. This 2 cylinder V twin uses a dual stage air cleaner to filter the air before it enters the combustion chamber. The battery used for starting the engine is charged by a 16 amp alternator once the engine is running. It’s hydrostatic transmission means that it’s an automatic and so the operator never needs to change gears.

The John Deere G110 has been specifically designed with large gardens and contractors in mind. It has cruise control as standard meaning that you don’t have to constantly monitor your speed. It also has a powerful headlights to allow you operate the lawnmower in the dark. This is especially handy and useful to those who are using a snow blower attachment during the winter with the JD G110. You will also notice a 12 volt port that you can use for charging your phone or for powering other devices. Thanks to it’s electric PTO, the mower deck engages instantly.

The mower deck on the John Deere G110 cuts a 54 width path of grass.  The mowing deck is constructed from 11 gauge steel. The JD G110 is 1.8 m (71 inches) long, although with the optional 6.5 bushel bagger attached at the back of the mower, it’s obviously going to be a bit longer. There are a number of attachments that are compatible with this lawnmower from a 46 inch snow blade to a 42 inch, dual stage snowblower as well as numerous other attachments.

I love this rig, I mow several acres of varying terrain, with mole holes dirt, little hills, and you name it. It just keeps on cutting and going, you will see a poof of dust, but does not slow her down, took me a few years to realize it had Zerk fittings on the blade bearings. Now I grease them a couple of times a season. Been a great tractor.

    Year of Manufacture: 2005
Pros: Always starts and runs great
Cons: tires are finally getting old… only real con is I with the front spindals for the wheels were a little stronger, I have never tweeked them but a couple of times came close.
