Cub Cadet Tank M72-KW

The Cub Cadet Tank M72-KW zero turn lawn mower is a true beast. It uses a massive Kawasaki twin cylinder engine that has a total displacement of 0.999 liters. This engine is gasoline powered and pumps out 37 hp. The engine uses a full pressure lubrication system to keep everything oiled and working smoothly. To prevent overheating, the Kawasaki is air cooled. A 20 amp alternator is used to recharged the 12 volt battery used for starting the engine. The replaceable air filter is a heavy duty, dual element type that prevents small particles from getting into the engine, where they can potentially clog it.

The engine on the Cub Cadet Tank M72-KW lawn mower powers the massive 72 inch mower deck (cutting width). The deck itself is up to 83 inches wide, when the discharge flap is attached to the side. The deck is constructed from 9 gauge fabricated steel that has certain areas reinforced with 7 and 10 gauge steel segments. Raising and lowering of the deck on the M72KW Tank is done using a spring assisted, dual pedal deck lifting system. The deck is adjusted in very small 0.25 inch increments that range from a minimum of 1 inch above the ground and a max of 5 inches above the ground.

While there is no option for collecting the grass clippings on the Cub Cadet Tank M72-KW, you can use an optional mulching kit to turn the clippings into a nutritious and fast decomposing mulch. It’s also quite useful in the winter also due to the fact that you can attach a snow blade to it for clearing your driveway. There are a number of similar (but smaller models) that the M72KW. These include the likes of the Cub Cadet Tank M60-KW, the Cub Cadet Tank M54-KH and the Cub Cadet Tank M60-KH zero turn lawn mowers.
