Toro 74952 G3 Commercial Series Lawn Mower

The Toro 74952 G3 Commercial series lawn mower is very similar to the Toro 74951 G3 Commercial Series Lawn Mower in a lot of regards. This is mostly due to the fact that they both have the same sized mower decks at 48 inches. However they both use different engines to power their wheels and blades. The Toro 74952 is powered by a 22 horse power Kawasaki engine. Before entering the combustion chamber air first passes through a dual element air filter which removes particulate matter. This Kawasaki also features automatic compression release which will help to make starting it easier.

The Toro 74952 G3 Commercial Series Lawn Mower gets it’s power from it’s rear wheels. These wheels are also responsible for turning the machine. As a result, the front wheels on the Toro 74952 are redundant except for balancing the machine. This is why they are relatively small at 12×5-6 (12 inch diameter, 5 inch width, 6 inch rim diameter) while the rear wheels are almost twice the size at 22×9.5 (22 inch diameter, 9.5 inch width). The other wheels on this mower are the small plastic ones on the front of the 48 inch mower deck whose purpose is to act as an anti-scalping measure.

The Toro 74952 G3 commercial series lawnmower has the added safety of a foldable roll bar (ROPS) which will help to protect the operator from the machine falling on top of him during operation. The Toro 74952 is constructed from strong tubular steel and so can withstand all the rough and tumble that continuous use can throw at it. For dealing with the grass clippings, to save time you can just allow them to disperse out the side of the mower deck thanks to the rubber discharge chute. However if you want you can also use a mulching kit to chop them up into a mulch or instead you can collect them in a rear attached bagger. A bigger version of this machine is the Toro 74953 G3 Commercial Series Lawn Mower.
