The John Deere 7500 E-Cut Hybrid fairway lawn mower is a specialty lawnmower developed by the team at JD for mowing fairways on golf courses. The JD 7500 lawnmower is incredibly powerful (it almost seems more like a tractor than a lawnmower). It gets it’s power from a Yanmar diesel engine that supplies the machine with 37.1 hp. This is a cylinder model with a total volume of 1.496 liters. It uses a liquid cooling system to prevent overheating and a dual stage, dry type air filter to prevent dust and other small particles from entering into the combustion chamber and potentially clogging it. The fuel tank on this fairway lawnmower can hold a maximum of 66.6 liters (18 US gallons) of diesel.

The John Deere 7500 E-Cut Hybrid transmits power from the engine to the wheels through a hydrostatic pump. It has the option of an all wheel drive traction system. The wheels through which power is transferred all have turf threads. The front wheels on the JD 7500 ECut Hybrid lawn mower each measure 26.5×14-12 (26.5 inch diameter, 14 inch width, 12 inch rim diameter) while the rear wheels are a little smaller, each measuring 20×10-8 (20 inch diameter, 10 inch width, 8 inch rim diameter). The ground pressure that these wheels transmit into the ground is just 10 psi which means that they’ll leave practically no marks whatsoever. The hydraulics system on this lawnmower has a capacity to hold up to 45.4 liters (12 US gallons) of hydraulic fluid.

In total there are 5 mowing units attached to the front of this lawnmower, each of which have a cutting width of 22 inches. Together these give a total cutting width of 100 inches. The cutting reels come with either a seven blades or eleven blades. The front roller on each mowing unit has a diameter of 2 inches while the optional rear roller has a diameter of 3 inches. If you are looking for other JD lawnmowers used on golf courses, then take a look at either the John Deere 7200 Precision Cut or the John Deere 7400 TerrainCut lawnmowers.
