John Deere 1028E Snow Blower

The John Deere 1028E 28 inch snow blower is a powerful model that should be adequate for clearing most residential driveways and smaller commercial premises. This dual stage snow blower is the bigger brother of the John Deere 827E snow thrower. It’s 4 stroke, Briggs and Stratton, 0.35 liter snow series engine that provides the snowblower with 12.5 feet-lbs of gross torque power. Like all modern John Deere snowblowers, the JD 1028E has a push button 110 volt starter. The gas tank on this model has a 3 quart gasoline capacity.

The 14 inch, serrated, steel auger efficiently cuts into snow and expels it via the electronically controlled deflector chute that has a turning radius of 200 degrees. One of the best features of the John Deere 1028E snow blower is it’s heated handles that come with the machine as standard. The machine moves forward with 6 different speeds and 2 different speeds in reverse thanks to it’s friction disk drive transmission.

The John Deere 1028E blower can handle most medium sized clearance jobs very effectively thanks to it’s extra large chute. It rarely slips and slides due to it’s specially designed X Trac tires that measure 16 inches in diameter and are just under 5 inches wide. All in all the JD 1028E is a fantastic snow blower, but if you need something even bigger for clearing your driveway, yard or carpark, then you may consider the John Deere 1330SE.
