The Husqvarna WHF6123 walk behind lawn mower is not your average 21 inch push mower. This machine is actually geared more toward gardening professionals. Hopefully this is fairly obvious from the fact that it has a massive 61 inch cutting width. The mower deck floats and is made from 10 gauge steel, with the outer edges made from 7 gauge steel. The mower deck has a large 4.5″ cutting range. It can operate as low as 1.5 inches above the ground and up to 6 inches above the ground when you are cutting long, damp grass and scrub. The blades in the mower deck on the WHF 6123 are belt driven. They are engaged using an electric PTO. There are 3 blades housed inside the deck. There are also 3 anti scalping wheels on the front of the deck which act to prevent it from ‘scalping’ the lawn.

The Husqvarna WHF6123 can handle up to 3 acres of grass an hour. It’s driven by a Kawasaki motor. This is a twin cylinder engine with full pressure lubrication that produces a power output of 23 hp. Power from the engine gets to the rear wheels through a Kanzaki pump and Parker wheel motor system that gives the WHF 6123 self propelled, walk behind lawn mower a top speed of 11.3 kph (7 mph) going forwards (although this may be a bit too fast for some people!).

The rear wheels on the Husqvarna WHF6123 each measure 20×7.5-8 (20 inch diameter, 7.5 inch width, 8 inch rim diameter). These are quite large as they carry most of it’s weight and also drive the lawn mower. The front wheels are smaller, each measuring 11×3.5-5 (11 inch diameter, 3.5 inch width, 5 inch rim diameter). The total weight of the WHF 6123 zero turn lawn mower comes to 308.4 kg (680 lbs). Other similar walk behind lawnmowers from Husqvarna are the Husqvarna WHF5223 and the Husqvarna WHF4817 mowers although they are both a little smaller.
