Cub Cadet ENFORCER 44

The Cub Cadet ENFORCER 44 uses a 20 hp Command engine from Kohler. This engine uses overhead valves and a fully pressurized lubrication system to help give it a longer operating life. The engine is gas powered and uses a transistor controlled ignition system. There is an air cooling system to prevent overheating and the engine uses a dual element air filter to clean the air intake of impurities. Thankfully this air filter is easily replaceable once it’s worn out. The Enforcer 44 lawn mower is key started using a 12 volt battery. This battery is then recharged via a 15 amp regulated alternator when the engine is running.

The Cub Cadet ENFORCER 44 can hold a total of 37.9 liters (10 US gallons) of gasoline in it’s twin fuel tanks. This massive fuel storage capacity means that you don’t have to worry about refilling it every 2 hours. Power from the engine gets to the wheels through a ZT2800 dual Hydro-Gear transmission, which means no gear changing. This transmission system is what also allows you to control each rear wheel independent of the other. Going forward, you can hit a top speed of 12.9 kph (8mph). The rear wheels, which power the Enforcer 44 lawnmower to this speed each measure 20×8-10 (20 inch diameter, 8 inch width, 10 inch rim diameter).

The mower deck on the Cub Cadet ENFORCER 44 zero turn lawn mower has a cutting width of 44 inches. With the plastic discharge flap attached to the side of the deck, it has a total width of 54 inches. The deck itself is made from 11 gauge fabricated steel. The deck is raised and lowered via a foot pedal that uses a spring assisted mechanism to make it quite easy. The total weight of the Cub Cadet ENFORCER 44 comes to 329.3 kg (726 lbs). Larger ENFORCER models include the Cub Cadet ENFORCER 48 and the Cub Cadet ENFORCER 54 lawn mowers.

One Review of the “Cub Cadet ENFORCER 44”

  1. Ron Davis says:

I cut 3 yards with this mower for a total of about 4-5 acres. I will not buy another cub cadet.

    Year of Manufacture: 2008
Pros: The Enforcer 44 Mows Fast, Good engine/ The mower deckpart sucks
Cons: Loves to eat belts@ 40.00 pop this is the most expensive high maintenance mower money can buy. Had a blade lowerring kit installed to try and stop the belt eating to no avail. Paid to much for this mower to eat belts and pulley like it does. I only have about 220 hr. on this mower and put at least 12 to 15 belts on the mower deck.
    Modifications: Blade lowering kit installed.
    Changed out 4 idler sheaves.
