The Snapper RER13.5/30 rear engine rider lawnmower is part of a series of simple, stripped down lawnmowers that offer a no frills solution to cutting your lawn. This series is the Snapper RE Rider series of lawnmowers. The engine that powers the RER13.530 is an Briggs and Stratton Intek that produces just 13.5 hp which is far less powerful that the likes of the Snapper SPX2146 and pretty much every other ride on lawnmower produced by the team at Snapper. The engine has just one cylinder and is started using either a recoil system or and electric starter system.

Power from the engine on the Snapper RER13.5/30 is transferred to the wheels through a gear box that gives the lawnmower 5 speeds going forward and one speed for reversing. This gives the RER 13.5 30 a top speed of 7.4 kph (4.6 mph) when traveling forwards and a top speed of 3.1 kph (1.9 mph) when reversing. Braking on this lawnmower is controlled using a Drum braking system. The rear wheels that the engine powers measure 16×6.5 (16 inch diameter, 6.5 inch width) while the front wheels, which control the direction of the mower measure 11×4 (11 inch diameter, 4 inch width).

The seat on the Snapper RER13.5/30 has a 13 inch high back and is adjustable backwards and forwards so that the operator will always be able to the find a position that is comfortable. The mower deck on this model has just one blade and has a cutting width of 30 inches. The mower deck can be raised and lowered from a high of 4 inches above the ground to a low of 1.5 inches above the ground. Unlike a lot of the tractor lawnmowers from Snapper, the RER13.5/30 is fairly light. It tips the scales at just 147 kg (324 lbs). Please leave a review below to let others know what they should expect from this lawnmower if you have owned or operated one in the past.
