Kubota L3700SU
The Kubota L3700SU special utility tractor is a little different to the rest of the L series from Kubota such as the Kubota L3400 or the Kubota L3540 tractors. The main reason for this is the fact that it comes packaged with a Kubota LA463 front end loader. This front end loader has a maximum dumping angle of 40 degrees. It has a maximum safe lifting capacity of 518 kg (1142 lbs). The total pump capacity of the hydraulics system on the L 3700 SU is 40.2 liters per minute (10.6 US gallons/min). This hydraulics systems gives the category 1, 3 point hitch at the rear of the tractor a maximum safe lifting capacity of 906 kg (1998 lbs).
The engine that powers the hydraulics system on the Kubota L3700SU tractor is a 3 cylinder diesel with a displacement of 1.826 liters. The 4 stroke engine is kept cool with a liquid cooling system and is vertically aligned. The engine is keystarted by a 12 volt battery that supplies the engine with 490 cold cranking amps. The engine is supplied with diesel from a fuel tank that can hold up to 34 liters (9 US gallons). The engine powers the wheels by transferring power through a HST hydrostatic transmission that gives the L3700 SU infinite speeds over 3 ranges (Hi, Medium and Lo). This gearbox gives this special utility a max speed of 22.7 kph (14.1 mph) going forwards, while in reverse it has a top speed of 20.5 kph (12.7 mph). It’s almost as quick in reverse as it is going forward.
The Kubota L3700SU special utility tractor comes with a foldable roll bar (ROPS). The total weight of the machine comes to 1165 kg (2568 lbs). There are a number of different ballasting options for the L 3700SU tractor including weights that can be attached to the front bumper and weights that can be attached to the rear wheels. A 74 inch dual stage snow blower can be attached to 3 point hitch at the rear of the tractor.
