There are actually 2 slight variations of the Kubota B3000 tractor. One is the Kubota B3000HSDC and the other is the Kubota B3000HSDCC. There is very little difference between the 2 except for the mid mounted mower decks that they can accommodate, the hydraulic control systems and alternators. They both have the same engine. This is a Kubota E-TVCS 4 cylinder diesel engine with a total displacement of 1.498 liters. It’s a 4 cylinder motor that has a total power output of 30 hp. The engine utilizes a pressurized, forced lubrication system to prevent the moving parts from wearing. The engine is liquid cooled and uses a pressurized radiator to dissipate heat. The fuel tank, providing diesel to the engine can hold up to 31 liters (8.1 US gallons) of diesel. The engine is key started via a 12 volt battery that is then recharged by a 40 amp (Kubota B3000HSDC) or 60 amp alternator (Kubota B3000HSDCC).

The transmission on the Kubota B3000 is a HST hydrostatic with 3 ranges (Hi, Medium and Lo) similar to the gearboxes you’ll find on most of the rest of the B series. This transmission gives it a top speed of 19.5 kph (12.1 mph) going forwards while in reverse it has a top speed of 15.5 kph (96 mph). The total length of the B 3000 tractor comes to 2.64 m (104 inches), while it has a wheelbase that measures 1.67 m (65.7 inches). The tractors weighs in at 1030 kg (2271 lbs) without any attachments.

The Kubota B3000 has a number of attachments that it is compatible with. These include a choice of mid mounted mower deck that has a cutting width of 60 inches or a much bigger deck with a cutting width of 72 inches. The mower deck has 3 blades and can be raised from a low of 1.5 inches to a high of 4 inches above the ground. There is also a LA403 front loader that can be attached as well as a BH77 backhoe. Similar models, that are slightly smaller include the Kubota B2630 and the Kubota B2920 tractors.
